Please note: we highly recommend choosing an Arisaka or Modlite weapon light over the M640DF. Despite the high lumen output, the M640DF beam profile is terrible as it is all spill, with hardly any reach. Here are beam comparison photos. Additionally, the adjustable mount on the M640DF is prone to coming loose, flopping around, and can be bent easily.

The SureFire M640DF Pro Scout Light, powered by two CR123A lithium batteries or a single rechargeable 18650 cell, is a compact and powerful LED weapon light that mounts securely to any MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail or M-Lok handguard. The light mount pivots on the body, allowing it to be positioned as needed.

The M640DF's recoil-proof LED emitter is focused by a TIR lens to create a high-intensity beam for close to medium range applications with enough surround light to optimize situational awareness. The M640DF outputs 1500 lumens and approximately 14,000 candela with an 18650 cell or 1200 lumens with two CR123A batteries.
