18350 Series Light Instructions

The Arisaka 18350 Series Light is a complete illumination package. Simply choose a head, tailcap/remote, and light mount from the drop down menus. Included is the low profile 18350 Series Light Body for an unobstructed, close fit when using an Arisaka Inline, Offset, or Side Scout Mount.

• Malkoff E2XTLv3 - This is the latest version of the E2XTL with an output of 55,000 candela and 1000 lumens using an 18350 cell. It has a very round and even intensity in the hotspot and smooth transition to spill. The beam pattern is comparable to the HTL, and recommended if you want the highest output head for both throw and spill in the Malkoff lineup. Run time is 45 minutes with a 18350 lithium-ion rechargeable. Malkoff heads are fully potted to withstand recoil during weapon mounted use. This head can also run off two CR123 cells or one 18650 cell, but would require switching to an 18650 length body.
• Malkoff HTLv3 - This is the latest version of the HTL with an output of 30,000 candela and 1000 lumens with an 18350 cell. It has a very round and even intensity in the hotspot and smooth transition to spill. This head is significantly smaller, lighter, and less expensive than the other 18650/18350 sized offerings, and has one of the best beam patterns on the market. Makes for a great all-around solution, and better suited for close-to-medium distances and dusty environments compared to the E2XTL. Highly recommended because the beam pattern is so good. Run time is 45 minutes on one 18350 lithium-ion rechargeable. Malkoff heads are fully potted to withstand recoil during weapon mounted use. This head can also run off two CR123 cells or one 18650 cell, but would require switching to an 18650 length body.
• Modlite OKW Dual Fuel and Multi Mode - 680 lumens and 69,000 candela of white light with an even tighter beam profile than the E2XTL. Run time is 30 minutes with 18350. This head can also run off two CR123 cells, but would require switching to an 18650 length body.
• Modlite PLHv2 Dual Fuel and Multi Mode - 1350 lumens and 54,000 candela of white light with a blend of spill and throw. Run time is 30 minutes with 18350. This head can also run off two CR123 cells, but would require switching to an 18650 length body.

The 18350 Series Light is compatible with all Scout tailcaps including the Surefire UE and DS, and will also fit in any aftermarket Scout mount, as it retains the mounting holes and square lug interface on the underside of the light body.

The Modlite Multi Mode heads feature two selectable modes - High Only and High + Admin. The Multi Mode heads come preset to High Only. If configured for High + Admin, a second press of the switch or remote will toggle between modes. Admin mode has an output level of 15% of High mode, providing for greatly extended run time.

Power source: One 18350 rechargeable. This light will NOT run off a single CR123 cell. The Malkoff HTL, E2XTL and Modlite OKW DF and PLHv2 DF heads can run off two CR123 cells, but require switching to an 18650 length body.

The Arisaka light body, momentary tailcap, and head are CNC machined from 6061-T651 aluminum and MIL-A-8625 Type III hard coat anodized. FDE heads and bodies are Cerakote over type III hard coat anodizing. High quality Buna-N O-rings are included.
